And I did two weddings in two consecutive weeks! (and I still don't get to take a good photo). I was arranging flowers and working at my day job at the same time!
When building a design for a bouquet, my thought process is always to know what the bride is like.
This one is for a lovely friend at work; I don't know much about her love story.
She chose yellow, the colour of happiness, warmth and sunshine - A lot like Love!

And as the line in the movie said.. "Guess when I'm an old man/woman, I'll never have to wonder, "What if...?"..

After a long break from arranging flowers, I had the opportunity to fulfil a promise to a very dear friend.
Three years ago made a pinky promise that I would be her florist once Michelle got married.
That little playful conversation had now materialised after quite some time, after days of coffee fasting and never-ending what-ifs conversation.

Michelle, my super chillax bride... is never shaken by the world's pressure. Pastor Jo Bonifacio once said that a marriage cannot be run by a committee.
When you know, you know.
Love is never too fast nor too slow.
Love is never the age, never the situation, and never the status.
Love is just the perfect time that God has given.
Love is God.
He connects two people to give glory to Him.
To serve Him, to be bonded by Him.

I have been reminded....
We often take for granted the beauty that we often see, because it has become too familiar to us. And when someone get hold of it for the first time, you see it through their eyes, and you realised that the thing you neglect is actually something that makes some people exclaimed 'it is beautiful.

May we never get too familiar with the things we see often, that we already neglect the beauty in it.
May we never be complacent with the things that we can easily reach, that we forget its value.
May we always sustain the love, excitement, interest, awe, importance of something, no matter how too familar, how ordinary and mundane it has become.

A very close friend of mine requested for an arrangement to send off her dad to heaven. The waiting game during the period in the hospital is unbearable until the doctor has finally announced that it is time...

..which is the hardest?

waiting for the plane to land?
waiting for your board exam result?
waiting for the love of your life?
waiting for the doctor's diagnosis?
waiting for a medical result?
waiting for a vaccine?

Whichever waiting season of life you may be in, may we all enjoy this journey and as they say, "don't forget to smell the flowers".

Never a fan of yellow, it has just grown into me very recently.
Yellow is the colour of sunshine - thus signifies hope.
